Jeremy Mogford

Jeremy Mogford

Chairmain of the OHSA and ROX, Jeremy is Managing Director of The Oxford Collection: the Old Bank and Old Parsonage hotels; Quod Restaurant, Bar & Terrace; Gees Restaurant, Gallery & Secret Garden; the Parsonage Grill; and 36 St Giles. In 1973 he founded the Browns Restaurant Group, opening restaurants in cities across the UK until the company was acquired by Bass plc in 1999.

Richard parnham

Richard represents residents’ association Reconnecting Oxford here at OBAG. Reconnecting Oxford campaigns for transport policies in Oxford that are evidence-based and enjoy the support of the local community. Before joining us, Richard spent more than 20 years as a legal trade journalist. We are grateful for the wealth of skills and knowledge he brings to OBAG as a result!

Founder of Opera Cafe on Walton Street, Jericho, Saleh is “pleased to be part of OBAG, creating constructive dialogue between local bodies, authorities and businesses to help keep Oxford the exceptional city it has always been.”

Nicholas Hardyman

Now a church warden at the University Church, Nicholas worked in fine art publishing for many years and now runs three publishing companies. He also produces the Summertown community website.

Peter West, Treasurer and Secretary

Peter West

Peter became involved in local issues on his retirement, as Chair of the Headington and Marston Community Forum, in which he fought successfully for the retention of the local Thames Valley Neighbourhood Police office. He now represents the interests of the Headington business and residential communities through OneHeadington.

Graham Jones

Involved in the OHSA as secretary for more than ten years, Graham is still very much involved in the group’s activities and those of ROX, established in 1999 as a local business campaign group, challenging proposals that could damage the economic well-being of the city. Currently, its membership covers the city centre, Headington and Summertown and a range of outlets and professions.
